The Global Nutrition Report's Country Nutrition Profiles brings together the latest data on child, adolescent and adult nutrition-related outcomes to identify the burden of malnutrition at the global, regional, sub-regional and country level. Global nutrition report (GNR) developed two impressive tools which provide insights on the burden of malnutrition in all its forms and on the progress made on the reduction of malnutrition.

Worldwide, 200 million children under the age of 5 (almost 1 in 3) are suffering the consequences of poor diets, according to a recent UNICEF report.
"We are losing ground in the fight for healthy diets." said UNICEF Executive Director Henrietta Fore, during the presentation of the State of the World's Children report on October 15th. “This is not a battle we can win on our own. We need governments, the private sector and civil society to prioritize child nutrition and work together to address the causes of unhealthy eating in all its forms.”

The four countries in East Asia that have implemented a national positive logo (Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei) and the three that are developing one (China, Indonesia, Vietnam) all have presented their progress at the Choices Symposium of the Asian Congress on Nutrition, in August in Bali.
